Clintonite pitbull leaves Chief of Staff job to be replaced by hard-nosed, but practical Clintonite. Prominent Clintonite economist leaves and is replaced by hardly prominent Clintonite economist. Leading candidate to replace Bush Era Secretary of Defense is Clintonite...Clinton?? Man, the radical social change is getting a little out of hand, wouldn't you say? No wonder the progressive set is bonkers...let me rephrase that...no wonder they are upset.

Clintonite Tells Youth That Things Are Bleak (Under Obama)
Hmmm...another Clintonite undermining the message of "Hope and Change" telling a key Obama voting block "You're f**ked." Notice how he frames the bad news:
UPDATE: And another (Rendell is, of course, a major Clintonite). Also, Cory Booker has a bright future, do you think maybe he was told that he could hook his caboose up to the re-emergent Clintonite Democratic Party's freight train or to a steadily sinking Obama...? That's Obama's main problem, he's renting loyalists, and somebody, somewhere articulated it early. Booker may just have cancelled Obama's lease on him.
UPPDATE: Jennifer Rubin says that "Romney Revels in Obama's Bain Blunders" I wonder if these are really blunders, all Obama has got is narrow base targeting (enviros, minorities, hard core leftists) and tearing down Romney's whiteness, wealth, and career history. I wouldn't classify using your only available tactics as a blunder, I would classify it as a bad strategic hand, which should not come as a surprise when you invest so much in an empty suit. To use military analogies, Obama is fighting with archers and foot soldiers when he needs cavalry, and he's fighting on ill-chosen terrain. Still I think Obama was going to lead with 1) Romney/Bain is evil and 2) Keep Hope and Change Alive. To see powerful Democrats take swipes at both these core pillars of Obama's arsenal is, well, berry eenturesting....
And The Week asks itself what I am thinking...are prominent Dems being asked to choose: Obama or their political future in a revived Clintonite/Democratic Party? And Chris Matthews, who might know a thing or two about Democrat Party inside baseball (if not anything about getting ratings), sees it for what it is...sabotage.
UPPPDATE: Dude. Now, it's Mark Warner. So, let's boil this up into the big picture from the various tidbits - a who's who of establishment Dems are taking sledgehammers to one of the key pillars of Obama's campaign strategy, the anti-Bain attack. That's the story. What can you possibly conclude from that?
UPPPPDATE: OMG! Now it's Bob Schieffer !! I am speechless. Epic Fail. There has to be utter panic in the Obama campaign bunker in Chicago. I am convinced of it, the Clintons have put the word out.
Fewer than half of the graduates from last year’s class have as yet found full-time jobs. Most are still looking.
Last three years, huh? What's going on here...I wonder.
That’s been the pattern over the last three graduating classes: It’s been taking them more than a year to land the first job.

Yes, Bubba Is THAT Good...Add Bowles to the Clintonite Death Squad
The Obama campaign's big early salvo against Romney was his career at Bain Capital. That was crushed by a Clintonite, (many Clintonites actually, one actually named Clinton).
Next beachhead for a major Obama assault is Medicare, hoping to paint Paul Ryan as that mythical evil budget zeroing Republican. That effort is running into major obstacles (or shortly will) at the hands of another figure who can reasonably be called a Clintonite.
Now, if only there was an influential Clintonite businessman attacking Obama for his miserably disastrous economic policy...oh wait...
What is it with all these Clintonites creating havoc for the Obama campaign? Yeah, you better believe it, baby. I'm waiting for the grande finale. Just how will Bubba make his heroic appearance at the DNC as a putative white knight for Obama, somehow not work out for Obama? The suspense I tell ya' !!

Another True Clintonite/Phony Obamaite, "Yeah Obama Sucks."
I don't need to remind regular readers of my long-standing view - slightly conspiratorial I admit, but not without tons of strong evidence - that the Clintons are purposefully and passionately undermining the Lightworker. The theory is laid out here.
Today comes another example of a Clintonite who is, let's call it "off message."
UPDATE: And as my all-knowing and perspicacious colleagues over at SayAnything have discovered, the Big Dog Himself is not quite singing effusive praise of the Lightworking. There's video. Check it out.
Today comes another example of a Clintonite who is, let's call it "off message."
Steve Rattner, the former “car czar” for Barack Obama, explains why voters may have narrowly given Obama the edge in the debate on Tuesday night, but give Mitt Romney a 31-point advantage on the economy. You have to go all the way back to the 1930s, Rattner explains after Willie Geist presses the point, to find a President with a worse record on economic growth in a first termRattner is most often described in the press as an "Obama czar" but Rattner has been in and around power Democrat politics for a long time and make no bones about it, he is a Clintonite through and through. He was of a small army of Clintonites who were "borrowed" at the onset of the Obama presidency to make it a success and cement the party's power. But now that Obama has wreaked devastation on the Democratic Party, the poobahs are taking back the reins and ushering the Lightworker out. Rattner is just part of the broad effort.

History's Pound Foolishness
The WSJ weighs in today on Obama's proposed gutting of America's military capabilities and they get it exactly right - this is history's pound foolishness. It's easy to see this as a budget issue and glaze over wot with all that green eye shade, but history transcends fiscal accounting periods and proceeds in tidal movements over decades. Obama's proposal is of a magnitude that it counts as one of history's "big ideas." Big, but neither a new or good idea.
Throughout history, great powers have voluntarily disarmed and the results have never been good. The reasons are always the same as well: 1) war is yucky, 2) we currently have no formidable adversaries, 3) we can spend the money on goodies for ourselves. Unfortunately, those that make the decisions are never around to reap the bitter fruits, it always falls upon later generations to to deal with, as the WSJ puts it, "history's next surprise." The entitlement state always wins out until there are battleships off your coasts and in your harbors.
Sure, we may enjoy free healthcare or lavish retirement benefits now, but what are we going to do thirty years from now when a Chinese carrier group sails into San Francisco Bay or, to slake their thirst for oil, China invades British Columbia (China population = 1.4 billion, Canada population = 34 million)? Or, what will we do when Iran parks several nuclear warheads in the jungles of Venezuela (more like five years from now)? Peaceniks, liberals and America-haters may scoff, but these are the scenarios that history bears out: humans are aggressive, power fills a vacuum, today's decisions set the stage for the world decades hence, and threats are ignored until they are right in front of your face.
The America-hating world will rejoice at our self-debasement but here, too, history offers scant comfort. The world is combustible and placid geographies can turn into killing fields in an instant. Europe was an abattoir for nearly all of the early half of the 20th century. After the US joined the fight and ensured ongoing security, the Europeans lived out the last half of the century in relative peace and prosperity (false, debt-fueled, entitlement-rich prosperity as it turns out). When the killing fields return to the heart of Europe and the US is militarily atrophied, how will the America-haters in Euroland feel just then? With Vladimir Putin III's army bearing down on the citizens of Berlin, after having raped and killed their way through Poland, just what will be the headline in Der Spiegel - "Thank God Obama Shrunk the US military by a Third!" ??
Laugh all you want at my hypotheticals, but show me where in history man's benevolent nature has undergirded long stretches of peace and prosperity. When was the golden age of nations living side by side in peace, the world safe from aggression of arms?
Obama opponents joke that he would turn us into France. It's no joke. He is. Here comes our transformation to the martial prowess of France. All that's left is to have not enough work to go around, so that we have to share the work with others in a 35 hour work week...oh wait...
Enjoy America. This is Hope and Change. You asked for it, you got it.
UPDATE: Another, more learned, take here. Just a quick point on this line: "Obama’s been trying to reassure Americans all this won’t endanger our national security or our strategic interests. Everyone in or out of uniform who’s free to speak knows better". You want proof? Just look at Odierno's face in this picture, it says it all.

Oh, and there is this:
UPDATE: While the subject is deadly serious, on a more wayward note, look at Panetta's face in that picture. What's with the ear-to-ear grin? Could he be unleashing the Clintonite Final Solution to the Era of Obama? Well, Panetta is a Clintonite and this surely will get every current and former US serviceman to the polls in November. I'm starting to think there really is something to my little conspiracy theory. All that remains is for some Clintonite to push Obama into formally declaring all individually owned firearms illegal before the election...although, based on my latest issue of American Rifleman, gun owners are already pretty fired up to vote in 2012...

Oh, and there is this:
Fortunately, some of the Republican presidential candidates have seen the danger coming. Mitt Romney has urged keeping the defense budget at 4 percent of GDP — it’s currently less than 3 percent — and wants to expand the Navy’s desperately endangered shipbuilding program.Abortion flip-flops, RomneyCare, yadayada...who bloody cares? Now is the time to get the BIG things correct. So you do you still want to bitch and moan about how uninspiring Mitt Romney is?

What Is Carville Up To?
Hmmm. Is this a sinister Clintonite gambit the likes of which I have predicted before? Very strange. The MSM is casting about for a way, any way, to portray Obama's economic leadership in a positive light (i.e. the auto bailouts were awesome!!) and here comes Clintonite media messenger par excellence saying that things are so bad that people will be rioting in the streets? D'oh!
Or is it something else...? Is he saying to go out and buy a gun? That's usually what "civil unrest" prognosticators tend to achieve, purposefully or not. I'm starting to get confused.

Arkansas Primary Returns: Lefty Panic Moves to DEFCON 3
So, I'm sitting here watching the returns come in down in Arkansas and I can't help but wonder when the Democrats will fully come to the realization that Obama has been an absolute disaster for their party. I know the Clintonite faction has come to that conclusion long ago, but when will the party as a whole internalize this fact? The inmate-guy in WV, "Uncommitted" in Kentucky and now this Wolfe fellow in Arkansas. Will the Dems just chalk this up to the esoterica of the low-sloping foreheads or will they be murmuring "Holy Freaking Shit" as they frantically call their therapists? The answer, of course, is the later. Foreheads only slope low when we are talking about Republicans and/or people so inclined as to contemplate voting for Republicans. Arkansans, West Virginians, and Kentuckians are all thoroughly decent people and members in good-standing in the brotherhood of civilized society when they fall in line with elite coastal viewpoints. Thus what we have is a "Holy Freaking Shit" moment a-brewing here. I'm moving the Lefty Panic Attack Condition to DEFCON 3.
UPDATE: With 67 of 75 counties reporting, Wolfe has 42% of the vote and the Lightworker has 58%. DEFCON 3.5 if you ask me, although when it comes to the MSM, I predict...crickets....
UPPDATE: John at Powerline adds some historical context - essentially the same results sent LBJ packing in 1968, although McCarthy was a credible candidate whereas "Uncommitted" and a federal inmate are not (although, IMHO anybody/thing would be better than Obama, including Glenn Reynolds's syphilitic camel). Also, the Democrats were different then. The radical progressive wing has taken over and expunged moderate, sensible Democrats. Not to worry though, the Clintonite Restoration is underway.
UPPPDATE: I have to throw in a little conspiratorial flavoring into the soup. Here we are at 11:00am on the following day and Arkansas is stuck at only 67 of 75 counties reported. What's is going on? Is there some reasonable explanation for the delay or are those 8 additional counties electorally peculiar in a way that only Michael Barone could understand and somehow hiding even worse news for the Lightworker...???

My Little Conspiracy Theory Is Now Conventional Wisdom
A little self-back pat here dear readers. Remember, I posited in early 2011 that the Clintonite machine was poised to take back the Democratic Party that Obama was renting and that Bubba & co. would sabotage the Lightworker. If you don't remember...
Starting here. Elaborating here. Analyzing still further here. Expanding upon here. Fleshing out here. Updating here. Adding to here. Tracking developments here. Picking up subtle clues here. Summing recently up here. (you get the point, but you can search "Clintonite" on this blog for much much more...)
This is now conventional wisdom.
Also, folks I called the Obama Unravel in February 2009 (!!!), days after he took office. Here is the pattern. Not getting cocky, but it's looking awfully familiar to me...to wit Maureen Dowd??

Bubba Sticks the (Final?) Knife In
Have I told you that the Clintonite machine is stewarding the Obama presidency toward a one term denouement? Why yes I have. 95% of it is behind the scenes, only stuff that geeks picked up on. The other 5% is out in the open, like this. Bubba is the fixer and he's fixing things.
I know there must be a scene in some movie somewhere in which the protagonist is running through some gauntlet, like a jungle or something, and getting pelted with darts that, as they accumulate, sap his strength. Ultimately our hero emerges into a clearing only to collapse from the multiple wounds at which point a large dark figure, the mastermind, emerges from just off-stage to finish off our protagonist with a final knife plunge, ensuring and taking credit for the finality of the protagonist's demise. The doomed, dart-ridden hero here is the Lightworker himself and the dark figure is Bubba sticking the knife in once and for all. Cut to black.
UPDATE: Why is Bubba doing this? Strategy and ego. First, strategy. Check this out from a professional pollster.

"The poll shows Democratic House candidates faring worse than they did in the 2010 midterms, being dragged down by an unpopular president who would lose to both Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Mitt Romney"Sounds alot like this, no?
"First, if Obama wins another term it'll probably be accompanied by Republican gains in Congress and incumbency for many is a worse problem to have in the future than incumbency for one. Frankly, I think the Dems would rather run congressional candidates against a President Romney or President Perry rather than in tandem with an Obama second term"Next is ego. This was me Aug. 11, 2011.
"Obama has been told it's over. He will not be given the keys to the Democratic Party's future and be allowed to own the vast apparatus of the party's traditional assets for decades to come as an all-conquering two term President. His presidency is in caretaker mode."Basically, my view is no way Bubba cedes the title of reigning two-term icon to this bozo. James Taranto seems to agree:
"...if the president is re-elected, Clinton not only loses that singular status but is Obama's lesser in almost every way. Clinton was re-elected in a time of prosperity, not anemic growth and 9% unemployment. Whereas Clinton failed to persuade a Democratic Congress to pass health-care "reform," Obama succeeded. Clinton moved to the center and worked constructively with House Republicans, while Obama has hewed to the left.Remember, I posited this theory months ago and it is all starting to look like it is coming into clear focus. The Clintonite machine has declared Hopenchange over and is preparing a transition to the next phase of the Democratic Party. So while Mitt Romney may be Presidential in a central casting kinda way and Rick Perry may just be a bad-ass, Obama's real troubles are with the Big Man...Bubba himself...and may well be his biggest downfall. And if Obama is re-elected, he will likely be the first Democrat since FDR to attract a popular-vote majority twice--a feat Clinton managed not even once.
If Obama is still president on Jan. 21, 2013, Clinton will have gone from Houdini to has-been. "

Revealed: Unified Theory of Obama's Libyan Shit Show
Wow, wow, and wow! Follow me here.
I have chronicled the interplay between the Obama camp of the Democratic Party and the Clinton camp. To summarize, Obama is renting the assets of the party, the Clintons own them. The Clintonites are undermining Obama in every way possible short of overt non-endorsement. I have also posited that Obama knows he's cooked, short of what he can pull off himself, he ain't getting any help from the Clintons. That explains a whole load of Twilight Zonish behavior from the Lightworker, from atrocious optics to doubling down on the policies and ideologies that got him shellacked in 2010.
So let's turn to Libya. If ever there was a Twilight Zonish head-scratcher, this whole affair is it. A fourth grader could see this was a pre-planned terrorist attack and yet the Smartest President Ever in the History of Everything thought he could lie about it to the American public for days upon days. Furthermore, he managed to get a putatively intelligent woman, Susan Rice, to be point person in propagating this sure-to-be-exposed lie. It is so daft and inexplicable as to make one's head hurt. Well, I just read this over at Althouse and I think the Unifying Theory is coming together...
Don'tcha see it? My theory was missing its keystone, and Althouse has happened upon it. Obama knows its over. The Clintonites are not interested in some sort of accommodation or power-sharing agreement over party assets. They've abandoned the Lightworker, they want to usher the Era of Obama out. So what is Obama's priority faced with running on his record without the full torque of the Clinton Machine? Win or lose, Obama's key mission is to poison the well of Hillary's career. The media's got his back, so he can take a chance - if he wins, the Clintons are a footnote and he reigns supreme as an all-conquering two-term Democrat who passed a healthcare entitlement, and Libya is forgotten. If he loses, he can play up the Libya Shit Show and blame/tarnish Hillary for years to come as payback for Clintonite machinations that cost him. Post November 6th, the Libya Shit Show has either been a non-factor or served its purpose. Heads Obama wins, tails he ties. He'll make that trade all day.
Your head can stop spinning now. You're welcome. And thank you Althouse.

Quite aside from the wrongness of lying, generally and specifically, in this case, and quite aside from the motivation to lie — I'm going to presume, without more, it was campaign politics — why did Obama think he could get away with this lie long enough, and why was he not daunted by the risk entailed in going on and on, doubling down on the lie, and even lying in a U.N. speech? How did he have the nerve to co-opt our U.N. ambassador, Susan Rice, and subvert her credibility and honor? How did he get this millstone around the neck of Hillary Clinton, who has such a strong interest in her independent career and who knows a thing or two about the devastation of getting caught lying? He got the millstone around Hillary's neck...and that, dear readers, is MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. You see, the Clintonites have waged covert warfare against Lightworker 2.0 and he knows it. Among the many thousand Clintonite cuts, Hillary caused severe embarrassment by leaking to the press that she turned down the VP slot in Lightworker 2.0.

Campaign 2012 Miscellany
Let's check in on the Clintonite conspiracy to take down the Lightworker and keep Bubba Big Dog the only two term Democrat since FDR...Mort Zuckerman takes to his column to tell you that the economy still sucks.
Also, let's got to the NBfPB videotape - all the way back to February - to see what I said about how this campaign might play out:
And then there is this from the NBfPB videotape of a more recent vintage:
UPDATE: Ha! Wouldn't you know it...trudging through the archives I stumble upon this, which has some Zuckerman and some DB prognostication all rolled into one...
Also, let's got to the NBfPB videotape - all the way back to February - to see what I said about how this campaign might play out:
2012 Election is Close Until Sep-Oct When Obama Blows It ala McCain in 2008: Obama's political skills are awesome, but his political instincts are terrible. He will do quite egregious things to please his base (wow! as if on cue). He will run neck and neck with Romney/Ryan until he blows it with a policy gaffe that conspicuously reminds voters what an amateur and/or liberal fascist he is. The gaffe could even be a Clintonite engineered self-destruction conspiracy. Not dead-on and not quite a bulls-eye, but damn close (DAMN close) if this latest "You didn't build it" rant gets the traction that the Romney campaign is working hard for it to get.
And then there is this from the NBfPB videotape of a more recent vintage:
While I predicted that Obama would meltdown almost on the day that he took office, we sit on the cusp of his re-election battle and he has stubbornly hung on to stay in contention, at least superficially. So I am making another prediction, actually more of an update, I guess, to my original meltdown trajectory. So here goes. The Obama presidency/campaign/phenomenon will shortly implode. Yes, "implode", as in spectacularly fail and wind up in ruins.I'm not claiming "nailed it" on that one yet, we have potential - the economy is still a mess, that gaffe, and the world looks like a bloody mess.
UPDATE: Ha! Wouldn't you know it...trudging through the archives I stumble upon this, which has some Zuckerman and some DB prognostication all rolled into one...
American Business Can See the Light at the End of the Obama Tunnel
We haven't heard from Mort Zuckerman, the Democrat who has been highly critical of Obama's economic policy for quite awhile, in a long time. Mort is back to tell us that the economy is still bad.
I have maintained, and I believe my position is stronger than ever, that Obama has lost the business community lock, stock, and barrel, Democrats and Republicans alike. Some businesses, aside from making the rational decision not to hire and create jobs, have even actively avoided hiring so as not to given Obama and the Pelosicrats any credit for for anything.
The US economy simply can't recover with Obama in office - he has solidified his reputation as a Chicago-style economic bully and he is still at this point actively sticking it to business while he makes phony gestures at enhancing US competitiveness. Business no longer has any confidence or interest in "doing business" with the Obama administration.
The finish line, however, is nearly in sight. This Bloomberg poll shows Obama in trouble. American business has taken the approach to wait the Obama years out and they can see the light at the end of the tunnel, they are not going to screw it up by changing the game plan now by making big moves in the next year and a half, and I also suspect that this dip in the polls will get the corporate cash flowing into the Republican candidates' coffers. Nothing greases the skids like an incumbent's vulnerability.

Unravel Watch
Early on, I laid out how the fluffy, lazy dream of Obamadise would unravel. I am always early with my calls and it is still early to judge of course, but signs are appearing that it just might play out that way. For guy who's never undertaken a major endeavor or had practical executive authority over anything, the man has alot on his plate and he's shifted from first gear to fifth gear in record speed. The sheer mass and import of events would overtake even the most well-prepared POTUS, but Obama was out of his depth to begin with, so I don't see much chance he can manage his way out of the swamp. We'll see. I think we are 3-6 months for the possibility of major ex-Clintonite Obamite being a born-again Clintonite, ex-Obamite.
Note: Some might comment that running for and being elected President was a major endeavor. Maybe, but I have heard time and again from lefties that George W. Bush was an idiot and "just because he got elected" doesn't mean he's smart. OK, granted. Just getting elected doesn't mean you're smart. Turnabout is fair play, so take Obama's election off the evidence list of his brilliance.

Again...
For those who remember well, Begala is a Clintonite
Democratic strategist Paul Begala, asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer if the Obama campaign has given up on North Carolina, said "Yes. I'm not supposed to say that Wolf. I work for the pro-Obama super PAC, so I'm being paid to help reelect the president, but if you look at where he's going and where he's spending money, yes, it looks like Governor Romney is likely to carry North Carolina."With all these Clintonite friends, who needs enemies?

Clintonite Restoration of Democratic Party Update
Remember I said that the Clintonites now own the Obama presidency lock, stock and barrel and that they would steward it as responsibly as possible for the sake of the party but ultimately phase the Obama era out? Lots of evidence of this, but this might be the most compelling. Bubba himself taking the side of jobs over the false gods that othewise drive Democrats, and really drive this president. Not for the first time either that Bubba has stuck the knife in.
Imagine a sailing ship where the crew is really in charge sailing about looking for the ideal remote island on which to abandon their captain and get back to business.

More Evidence of Clintonism Burying Obamaism
A small, but telling confirmation of my "Clintonite Resorgimento" theory.
Companies like IAC keep one or two slots on their Board of Directors for people connected to the halls of political power. They need to be one or two phone calls away from a high-octane mover and shaker in government and they need to have their interests and concerns talked about over dinner regularly among a certain crowd.
So which Obama-loyalist did IAC give that slot to?
Um, er...Chelsea Clinton? Huh?
Exactly. IAC is betting (or knows) that the key players in the Democratic Party of the future will be Clintonites and not Obamabots. All part of the subtle re-establishment of Clinton hegemony within the Democratic party, which by definition involves the marginalization of Hopenchange.

Prescient?
Wow. This was another of my 2012 predictions:
- 2012 Election is Close Until Sep-Oct When Obama Blows It ala McCain in 2008: Obama's political skills are awesome, but his political instincts are terrible. He will do quite egregious things to please his base (wow! as if on cue). He will run neck and neck with Romney/Ryan until he blows it with a policy gaffe that conspicuously reminds voters what an amateur and/or liberal fascist he is. The gaffe could even be a Clintonite engineered self-destruction conspiracy.Forget about the details of timing and the Republican ticket in that statement and focus on the bolded words. Egregious things...reveal that he is a liberal fascist. Hmmm. Can we say "contraception mandate"? Could it be that I got it exactly macro right, if not exactly micro right?

Another Clintonite Knife In Obama's Back
This is curious. Bill Daley is the source for yet another major MSM piece that puts Dear Lightworker in a bad light. Recall the first one was the WaPo's piece on how Obama cratered the fiscal grand bargain with Boehner. This one hints at authoritarian impulses on the part of our President, or at least provides obvious fodder for someone like, say, Matt Drudge to run with the authoritarian impulses meme.
Why would Daley be doing this?

Was This the Clintonite Coup De Grace?
OK, dear readers, you all know what I've been saying and saying and saying about the Clinton machine taking the Lightworker down.
Could this be that ultimate or penultimate knife wound from which the crucial bleeding occurs and results in our hero dying before we cut to black?
I've always said that no way would HRC take up the VP slot on the ticket and put Dear Leader over the edge and back in the Oval Office for another four years. Although here is where it gets delicioso - what if not only did HRC pass on the VP slot, but if she did it embarrassingly to Axelrod & Co. Wouldn't that be more in keeping with my theory about the Clintons reclaiming the party from Obama's thug Chicago crowd? Yes, I think it would.
How would she do that? Well, she could wait until Uncle Joe made a few of his typical, bone-headed gaffes. The Clinton machine could then get some of its friends in the MSM and in the blogosphere to kick start up a "swap HRC for Biden" meme, after which it is leaked that HRC has already told the Smartest President Ever, the Some Sort of a God, Lightworking Nobel Peace Prize Laureate..."Um, thanks but no thanks." Wow. How embarrassing! That might even hit the Lightworker where it hurts - in the campaign's mojo.
And all this could happen about the same time that a guy like Jerry Della Famina suggests that disappointed 2008 Obama voters give Romney a look-see...
Outlandish? Conspiratorial? Yeah, I know, it's just too crazy...never mind.

Bubba Knifes Obama's Bain Crap
Well, dear readers (all 15 of you), I'm back from a not-so-relaxing week of vacation in which I was largely unaware of the news. But I did pick up a little tidbit about Bill Clinton putting the stake into the heart of Obama's anti-Bain campaign tactic. I've been saying it and saying it as Clinton surrogates have been pricking this balloon for weeks, but now the Grand Poobah has spoken - dead and buried. While the Lightworker has Mitt Romney to fear slightly (his campaign strategy and tactics are surprising skeptics as an unexpectedly good combination of aggressiveness and nimbleness), he has The Bubba to fear all the more. Stay tuned for more overt Clintonite sabotage of HopenchangeNeedsMoreTime.
Think of this imagery...
Think of this imagery...
Cut to black.UPDATE: Even Fineman gets it.

It's Over: Hillary to Obama: "Fire Me"
Or more accurately, "Get yourself a new Secretary of State." By announcing that she is done, preparing to downshift out of politics, she is announcing that her heart isn't in it, that she's mentally in the next phase. Obama may not be smart enough to see it that way (heresy you say? If the guy ain't smart enough to figure other basic shit out...) but he can't have a checked-out Secretary of State when foreign policy is really all he's got left. With this maneuver the Clintonite abandonment of the Obama Experiment is complete (how was that for a call!) and his lease on the Democratic Party is coming to its close. This is a key milestone in the Great Unravelling process that I have laid out extensively before - the rented loyalists would disappear, the out-of-ideas Democrats would be stuck with 10% unemployment for all of Obama's term, the radical green anti-hydrocarbon policy war would send gas prices higher, and the vicious attacks and rhetoric on business would put business leaders in the bunker (getting growth from temp workers and overtime, but avoiding hiring like the plague). Obama has made every wrong move and squandered nearly every bit of credibility he ever had, and we are all but approaching the end. Some will say the opposite, that he has merely enervated himself and his administration achieving historic things. I'm skeptical. Much of his agenda will be reversed in the coming years but that is a series of posts for another day. Bottom line here, his personnel problems are starting to mount and thus Obama's troubles are intensifying with this news today, not stabilizing.
UPDATE: Just hitting the wires...Obama is in Afghanistan talking to Karzai. I stand corrected, he at least is smart enough to figure out that Hillary is done and is taking measures himself. I certainly hope he is asking Karzai what the f%$k his relative is doing showing up in the UAE with $52 million.
