More Left Wing Penis Envy

Furthering my theory that crappy colleges disproportionately exhibit the asinine totalitarianism of the left more than, say, the Ivy League or other hallowed institutions (although they do it too).

I mean really...Dixie State?  Dixie State probably shouldn't exist, let alone be allowed to treat students this way.

Heh. Share the Poverty

Lefties are normally redistributing wealth.  In Europe, for the foreseeable future, they'll be redistributing poverty.

It's Not Europe's Fault That Syria Is a Mess

The NY Times is taking it upon itself to decide what is a "fair" distribution of migrants throughout Europe (because in Timesworld, the fact that Syria is a farging mess is our fault).

Huh?

Why?

I still don't understand why it is incumbent on European countries to take these people.  Why not other Muslim countries?  Why not Saudi Arabia, whose king needs, like, 300 Mercedes-Benzes for his entourage when he visits the US?  Why not Egypt?  Why not Iran?  Why not Jordan?

These people have tolerated tyranny and abuse for so long, they have not shown an ounce of dignity in demanding better of their rulers, but now they demand dignity from Germans, Hungarians, Brits and the like?

How about fighting for yourselves in the land where you live?  With what?  Guns.  Don't pay human traffickers to haul your ass to Germany, pool your money and buy some guns, and fight.

This is from today's WSJ:
As a Syrian who was forced to flee this horror. ...  We need a place where we are safe from the barrel bombs and chemical attacks of the Assad regime or the terror attacks of ISIS. We need to get more people resettled in the U.S.
This is wrong, they need to stand and fight.  They need guns and they need to make it difficult and painful for Assad's goons to haul them away to the torture chambers.  Elitists in the West are always going on about the horribleness of the Second Amendment, but Syria needs a Second Amendment, these people, more than anything, need the means to stand up to the regime and the murderous ISIS fanatics who would drive them from their country.  Instead they flee to Europe and ask Europeans to solve their problems.

Obama's Iran Deal Fits Perfectly with the Modern Lefty's Conception of Peace

So much ink has been employed (not spilled, as in wasted) in talking about Obama's Iran deal - from it's baffling underlying theories to the long string of concession after concession on the US's part to the still overwhelming lack of support for the deal.

So I won't go into much analysis, accept to say that the deal fits nicely into my paradigm for analyzing foreign policy coming out of the political left.  The modern left equates the lack of shooting with peace.  No shots being fired, the world is at peace.  Tensions can be simmering just below boil and raging animosities can have built up that will exploded in time, but we can still be at peace in the mind of a lefty so long as we claim we are and nobody is shooting.

This is Obama's view.  He's saying "Hey, this deal means that there won't be a shooting war for 10 years or more, I just engineered 10 years of peace."

I don't know how he knows that, but leave that aside.  He'll be long gone when Iran does get the bomb, and when that happens the shooting will start for sure.  Maybe even sooner, because those tensions are boiling all over the Middle East.  Meanwhile we will live in Obama's Lefty Fantasyland of Potemkin Peace.

Lefty Strategy: Lure Illegals and Keep Them on the Dole

The guys at Powerline have picked up on this new study, also highlighted by Drudge.

This should come as no surprise.  Massive illegal immigration is a desire of the left because they want to import new voters for Democrats.  And how to lure them here?  Give them money.  And how to get them to vote for Democrats while they are here?  Keep giving them money.

What, did you think that lefties want to lure all these people here so that they could work?  Shit no, then they'd become Republicans.

Europe's Green Policy Retreat Continues

Remember I said that Europe would be ratcheting back its climate change policy goals...?

Even the Danes are having to cry a bit of uncle.
