Tell Me Again About the Wisdom of Crowds???

I thought for sure that it was patently obvious what a disaster an Obama presidency would be - mostly because he was a sketchy individual with silly ideas and no experience doing anything.  But we elected and re-elected him.

After five years, and in the midst of the ObamaCare explosion (never mind the long list of incompetencies, scandals and embarrassments), New York City is poised to elect a sketchy individual with silly ideas and no experience doing much of anything as its mayor.  And Virginians appear poised to elect an extremely sketchy individual (also with batty notions, but I am certain that McAuliffe has no fixed notions about anything) as their governor.

It's one thing to have different views and political philosophies, it is another thing entirely to let these scumbags float into office, where they have undue influence over our lives.  It's a depressing spectacle of (lack of) electoral judgement on the part of citizens.
