Lefty Logical Contradiction of the Day: Minimum Wage Laws Worsen Sprawl

At the sociological level, all good lefties loathe (and I mean LOATHE), "sprawl".  Sprawl is the extension of mainstream life - commerce, housing, political power - away from urban cores.

And yet, pet policy priorities of the left promote sprawl in direct contravention of their desire to rein it in and/or to reverse it.

Today's example comes from the Seattle area where the small municipality of SecTac has enacted a massive, abrupt minimum wage hike.  Of course, lefties thought they could avoid the laws of economics this time for some inexplicable reason.  Alas, it is not to be, but here is the relevant tidbit for our purposes today...
After decades in Seattle, Northwest Caster and Equipment recently made the difficult decision to move to unincorporated Lynnwood, according to a report by KOMO news.  The owner of the family business blames Seattle’s increasingly difficult business climate for the move:  “It just seems like increasingly the city’s become a more difficult place to do business.”
Lynnwood?  That would be in the opposite direction from the Seattle core.  Activity, people and power get pushed out to the hinterlands one dumb law or regulation at a time.  But they add up.  And lefties wonder why their beloved urban cores are dying or losing out to the burbs.
