Crime in DeBlasio's NYC

I warned of the potential for a return to the bad old days of mayhem brought about by soft-on-crime lefties like the one that NYCers just elected.  This NY Post report has the story of 13 shot in 9 hours.  Is the lawlessness coming back?

At least 13 people were shot in nine bloody hours in the city over the weekend — including two teens participating in a memorial walk for a friend killed by a stray bullet, police said.

Too early to tell, but the news is not encouraging.
