Let's Face It, We Take Terrorism Too Seriously Now
Let's examine our current state of affairs America.
Last year, two unemployed, wannabe-jihadi knucklehead brothers managed to get authorities to shut down an entire metropolitan area of 4 million people.
Yesterday, an unarmed depressed nurse put the nation's capital (the capital of a nation of 330 million people) and all legislative business on lockdown.
All hands, we have a crazed dental hygienist driving fast, shoot to kill, try not to hit the child though...
Just maybe, haven't we overreacted to the terrorist threat? Haven't we finally gone off the deep end? We have a militarized police and agency juggernaut ready at a moment's notice to massively disrupt American life in response to the slightest twitch. Time for a rethink?
