Romer Is Gone...Takes a Shot on the Way Out?
I've been beating the dead horse...Christina Romer has trashed her own credibility and has become an embarrassment. If it was the politics, she should have resigned long ago. And now she has.

While I agree that this is long overdue, it was inevitable once that study she and her hubby authored surfaced decrying the stupidity of raising taxes in the early stages of a recovery.
Although she little more than a token anyway, at least she recognized that she had become an embarrassment. Jared Bernstein isn't nearly that perceptive.
