It Would Wreck Their Worldview to Think Otherwise

I've been jabbing Walter Russell Mead for some time here, wondering how such a perspicacious critic of Obama's domestic and foreign policy and chronic doomsayer in re the "Blue Model" could have voted for this fraud to begin with.

Alas, others are publicly scratching their heads at this too.

And much as I love Walter Russell Mead, I note that he voted for this guy, and blandly assumed that an Ivy League pedigree was some sort of assurance of competence. Not so much. And it’s not as if the signs weren’t there, for those able to see them.

I've had some thoughts in this regard, ya' know.
