Glass House Russia Throws Stones

Russia is talking smack about nations outside the Axis of Thugs (Russia, Iran, Syria, etc), calling Great Britain, a small island that nobody listens to.  Well, Russia is not small, and Great Britain surely has a smaller geographic footprint than Russia.  Still, the UK economy is larger than Russia at $2.4 trillion versus Russia's $2.0 trillion, and Russia trails badly in terms of GDP/capita (47th in the world versus 22nd for Great Britain), so despite its size Russia remains rather backward and unproductive in comparison.

And of course, Russia doesn't have much in the way of world class talent, not even in one of the most important sectors of their economy, which is why they have to steal technology and property using, shall we just say, "typically Russian" methods.

Oh, and if oil prices dropped significantly, Russia would revert back to dirt-poor status pretty quick...
