Why Are We Still Acting Surprised?
Why are we (OK, it's just the media mostly) still feigning shock and surprise that ObamaCare is a clusterfuck?
It was only ever going to be thus. It was foreordained. It was a certainty. These utopian schemes never work.
I guess the answer to that question is the same as why we ever expected the economy to get better under the administration of a crazy lefty who has never had a real job.
I remember reading somewhere about long-time journalist Jerry Nachman, in reference to the media, saying that 80% of the stories they report are in some way about government ineptitude and yet somehow everyone in the media is pro-government.
One of life's great mysteries.
