Pelosi got more campaign dough from Kleiner Perkins than from the AFL-CIO and, naturally, they want her to push for Sarbanes-Oxley reform so that it remains easy and cheap for them to unload their portfolio companies on the public markets. I guess, sometimes even the most principled "progressive" has to bend to the will of capitalist reality.
